Elisha Gomes

Elisha Mayanka Gomes is the Chief Executive Officer of Westgate Interiors (Pvt) Ltd, Sri Lanka’s leading interior construction company with a turnover exceeding Rs.1.4 billion and employing over 150 professionals. Under her visionary leadership, Westgate has become one of the country’s most dynamic and innovative names in the design and build industry.

Born and raised in Sri Lanka, Elisha is an alumna of Visakha Vidyalaya. She graduated with First-Class Honours from the University of Manchester and completed her Master’s Degree at Imperial College London with distinction. Her career began at KPMG London, where she gained invaluable corporate and analytical experience before returning to Sri Lanka in 2019 to join Westgate Interiors.

A passionate athlete, Elisha represented Sri Lanka as a synchronized swimmer and captained the national team to the 2010 Commonwealth Games finals in India. She also competed at the 2006 Asian Games in Qatar and the 2012 Asian Games in Korea. The discipline, focus, and teamwork honed through sports have profoundly shaped her leadership approach in business.

Under her leadership, Westgate Interiors has received multiple accolades, including the Brand Excellence in Interior Designing and Furniture Manufacturing Award at the 2022 and 2023 South Asian Business Excellence Awards. Elisha continues to inspire a new generation of leaders through her dedication, innovation, and unwavering commitment to excellence in Sri Lanka’s corporate landscape.
